At The Clothes Show for Nanshy

Nanshy is a make-up brush brand that is cruelty-free, 100% vegan and approved by PETA. I choose to work with them because they are ethical and as a make-up artist I find their brushes are fantastic to use, affordable and durable.

For the past week I’ve been on stage at The Clothes Show giving live make-up demos using Nanshy brushes to some of the thousands and thousands of visitors who made the journey to the NEC in Birmingham.

The atmosphere was incredible with new and established fashion designers showing their designs, music and dance performances, personal appearances by celebrities and TV stars and lots of beauty products to try.

I was privileged to have backstage access throughout the show and got to meet a lot of fabulous people including fashion and style legend Hilary Alexander OBE. Watch out for Hilary as a judge on the new series of Britain’s Next Top Model on TV next year. Before you ask – no I can’t tell you any gossip about the show! Sworn to secrecy.

Thank you to everyone who came to watch our demos and who visited us on our stand. Special thanks to all the make-up artists who used Nanshy brushes on their catwalk models.

  1. Hey there, just watched your video about the machine that increases collagen through heat. Sounds really interesting, but you didnt explain how heat can increase collagen. I have just finished studying a beauty therapy course and have never head of this. Love your videos and info, but a bit baffled by this.

    Thanks

  2. Hey Nikki, thanks for your reply. Just had a look at the link you gave. Think i might give them a call tomorrow as they do not explain how it is possible that heat increases collagen. I am very bemused by this as i dont think it is. At all possible. But appreciate that you have recommended it, so guess there must be something in it?
    Thanks
    Carol
